Energy Alternatives was contacted by a geological company who had a remote camp. They had a 30 kW diesel generator, running 24 hours per day. The loads were small and variable, between 2 and 15 kW. They asked, what could we do to improve this?

EA designed and fabricated an integrated power system with the following features:

• 20 kW Yanmar diesel generator
• 7 kW 120/240 Outback VFX3524 inverter
• 60 kWh battery bank.
• Automatic generator control
• Remote monitoring and control system

This system was designed, assembled and tested at our facility in Victoria. This system was up and running within 4 weeks of order placement.

System was delivered to a very remote site 100's of km's down a logging road from the paved road.
